Jessica Cordell, LMT

TMJ & Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy Specialist

Jessica Cordell is a licensed massage therapist with specialized training in TMJ and intraoral therapy, scar tissue management, neuromuscular therapy, and Buteyko breathing principles. A graduate of the Denver Integrative Massage School (DIMS), where she completed a 600-hour certified massage therapy program in 2021, she also brings a background as a former dental assistant — experience that helps her bridge the gap between dental procedures and functional recovery.

Her private practice, TMJology, is based in Denver, Colorado, where she focuses on TMJ disorders, jaw pain, and orofacial myofunctional dysfunction. Her work also supports the hypermobile and EDS community, as well as women’s health concerns that may influence airway function, muscle tension, nervous system regulation, and overall stability. Jessica integrates manual therapy and neuromuscular principles to support patients before and after tongue tie releases and jaw surgery, with scar tissue management as a key component of her work — helping reduce restriction, restore mobility, and support more optimal long-term outcomes.

While much of this work involves intraoral structures, Jessica also incorporates full-body treatment into her approach. This allows her to support not only local tissue changes, but also how those changes influence movement patterns, posture, breathing, and tension throughout the entire body.

Outside of the office, Jessica enjoys attending fan expos, getting creative with cosplay, and spending time on patios at local breweries with her husband, Jeff, and their corgi, Stella. She also volunteers with a mini pig rescue in Colorado and helps educate others alongside her mini pig, Penelope, at community events, including yoga with rescued pigs.
